Mother’s Day Giveaway

Mother's Day Giveaway

Moms are my business. I started Love You Sew with all the products I personally wanted but couldn’t find most of these items readily available…or they were non-existent like my breathable car seat cover. So I started sewing and selling. It’s all of you who have made my business grow. I’ve met so many of you incredible moms out there…from one emailing me questions from the NICU to one  ordering for quadruplets!  I’m so grateful for you and want to say thanks!!!

To celebrate all the moms out there, I’m offering $50 shop credit to TWO entrants. Each person will get $50 to spend either in my Etsy shop or for any other custom sewing. This includes dresses, pouches, tablet covers, quilts and more!

What makes Mother’s Day special to me….I am a stay at home mom so I am with my son (2 in June) 24/7 but honestly, I just look forward to spending Mother’s Day with him- no gifts needed. Only thing that could make it better is if I could be with my mom (and family)- she is amazing, I have learned so much for her! Happy Mother’s Day to you Cristy!

What makes is special to me is that I can always count on my 2 kids to stop their worlds long enough to take me to lunch or something. Life is so crazy and complicated these days, that sometimes it flies by and we dont’ even know it. But nice to know they will give me one day a year…no matter what!

Mother’s Day…for years my kids have been making me a picnic spread for Mother’s Day…a feast to enjoy outside in our back yard. Some years it’s peanutbutter and a bit of sand…but oh so tasty made by little hands…Which are not so little anymore…

Oooh, that quilted hoop necklace is beautiful!
What makes mother’s day special for me is getting to spend some quality time with my mum and for her to have a great time with her kids and grandkids too. I’m especially feeling the need for that after losing my dad a few years ago – have got to treasure every moment we have.

Mother’s Day is special to me because it is the only day a year where I get to relax and enjoy a day full of free time, while my family takes care of me & my responsibilities. They sure do appreciate me more afterward!

  20. Laura says:

My 2 little girls make mother’s day special. This year, we have to travel Saturday and Sunday to see respective mothers, so I don’t really get a day for me. Worth it? Maybe? Thanks for the giveaway!

  21. Steph Mabry says:

This year will be bittersweet. Last year there was a little one in my life, so I was sort of a stepmom, and this year there isn’t. Without sharing details, my boyfriend and I are beyond sad and will be spending this Mother’s Day and definitely this Father’s Day healing. (Sorry to be so gloomy – it’s just what comes to mind this time ’round!). Thanks for the chance to win.

  22. Amanda says:

Mother’s Day was always special to me because I have a wonderful mother and grandmothers. It is even more special to me now that I am a mother myself. My daughter makes everything worth it. 🙂

  23. Marie Biswell says:

Now that I am a mum, I totally understand what Mother’s Day is all about …. you have to experience the tiredness, the heartache, the tears to enjoy the full joy of being a mother.

  24. Gina F says:

Mother’s Day keeps becoming more special as my daughters grow into adults and our relationship matures.

  25. Lee says:

  26. Susan Ikin says:

I love seeing my children and now a grand child at any time, but guaranteed to see them on Mother’s Day which is a bonus.

  27. Lia says:

I personally thinkg that mother’s day has become one huge commercial thing and I don’t like it. I don’t have any kids myself, but I am blessed to have my mum around (because my dad left us way too young) and just because there is a day that is called Mother’s Day, doesn’t mean that I love her any less on any of the other days and I think you should cherish and worship her throughout the year. So I do not limit little gifts or my love to just that one day. But throughout the year 🙂
Thanks for the chance to win!

  28. Chris says:

It’s a chance to stop and honor all women, past and present for what they do everyday. They influence our lives in so many ways, we need only look around.

  43. Robyn says:

This will only be my second mother’s day… so it is still a new thing to me. Every day is special when you are a mommy though! (and often tiring, messy, and frustrating as well)

  44. Katy M says:

I think making something by hand for mothers day is always special. From the cards you make when you’re in school to (hopefully) more sophisticated things now! x

  45. Pauline says:

Being with my children was the best Mother’s Day for me – now they are grown and we have 5 grandchildren and so it is nice to be with our daughters if possible or to talk on the phone with them – I also love cards – no gift required but I do like cards.
    Pauline

  47. Sue says:

At least getting to talk to all of my grown children who are spread out across the country.

  48. Donna Lee says:

What makes Mother’s Day special is realizing how blessed I have been to have the privilege of being a mom, by both birth and adoption. And how blessed I was to have a mom who truly loved me and kept me safe, unselfishly provided for my needs even when I was ungrateful, and who I had for 86 years.

Mother’s Day has significance in my relationship with my mother-in-law… we continue to grow together.
    mandiprout80 @ gmail (dot) com

  53. Nicola says:

I like Mothers Day because I can give my mom lots of extra hugs ‘just because’!

  54. Sasha says:

I love my darling husband making breakfast with the children so I can have half an hour of uninterrupted laziness in bed! If i’m super lucky I even get a newspaper to read.

  55. Jodi R says:

I am blessed to still have my mum & also to be a mum but I know not everyone who had a mum still does and that not everyone who wants to be a mum gets to be. My hubby’s mum died when he was only 14. I have friends who have not been blessed with children in their lives so I find mothers day a little conflicting.
I enjoy taking the time to celebrate my mum who is an amazing woman who deserves to be celebrated everyday. I am a mother of 2 beautiful daughters and I am not opposed to hubby cooking a nice dinner and taking some time with the girls to spoil me. Tomorrow we will spend the day together as a family with my sister and her kids doing what I love most – just being with my family, eating good food, playing games and enjoying each others company. My ideal day no matter what we are celebrating.

  56. cherie says:

having lost my mum when i was 10, mothers day was always hard for me, especially at school being forced to make cards and gifts etc, being told, well just do it anyway!!!! but now i have kids of my own, mothers day is again a good day, so anything with them is special, even burnt toast and soggy cereal is wicked 🙂

  57. Gia says:

I think that just being around your kids makes any day special and it makes Mother’s Day extra special!
Having a day where they get to be sweeter than usual and heap you with kisses is bliss.
Thank you for the generous giveaway!

  58. Rose says:

I love being spoiled rotten.. LOL I’m selfish.. But my kids get so excited they spend weeks planning presents.

  59. Sarah says:

What makes Mother’s Day special for me is how excited my children are about surprising me, and the wonderful things they write on the cards and signs they bring home from school.

  60. Despina Veneti says:

Mother’s day is special for me because my mom is the most special person in my life.

  61. Sarah Owens says:

For me, it’s looking back at who made me a mother! Each little face. Each little soul that God blessed me with. The things they have thought me about myself, when I thought I was the one giving the lesson! Lol And realizing ways in which I can grow, for each of my children, as a mother. I look at Mother’s Day as a time to remind my mother how blessed and proud I am to have called her Mommy. It’s about the women who sacrificed daily to give us the things they denied themselves. The life that our mothers were determined to give us. Mother’s Day is about LIFE!

  62. Mary Ann says:

This mother’s day weekend has been special because we have spent it having a backyard campout as a family. I have really enjoyed having so much time to relax together!

Thanks for a great giveaway! I would have to say that Mother’s Day is special because its a chance to recognize mothers all over – mothers through adoption, mother-like figures, and (of course) biological mothers. Its a day to recognize just how special and meaningful they are to our lives.
